Boiler pressure relief valve replacement, office building in the City of London

Six pressure relief valves replaced across three condensing boilers in a single planned shutdown at a City office.

Project overview

Planned replacement of the pressure relief valves on the three boilers serving a City of London office building, delivered for its facilities management provider.

SCOPE

Supply and fit six 12 bar pressure relief valves across three floor-standing condensing boilers and return the plant to service within one working day.

WHAT WE DID

We isolated and drained each boiler in turn, removed the old DN50 and DN80 valves, fitted the new valves with fresh jointing, refilled and vented the system and tested each boiler under load before moving to the next, so the building was never without heating.

OUTCOME

Three boilers back on line the same day with correctly rated, certified relief valves, and photographs of each completed boiler in the handover report.
