Out-of-hours testing

Fixed wire testing shows whether a building’s electrical installation is safe to keep using. Our NICEIC approved engineers test to BS 7671, produce a clear Electrical Installation Condition Report and give you a prioritised, costed quote for any C1, C2 and FI observations. We work out of hours where needed to avoid disruption.

Periodic inspection and testing by NICEIC approved engineers

An Electrical Installation Condition Report shows whether the fixed wiring in your building is safe to keep using and what needs attention. Commercial premises typically need one every five years, more often in some environments, and insurers and FM contracts increasingly ask to see a current report.

Our NICEIC approved engineers inspect and test to BS 7671 using calibrated Megger and Fluke instruments, and work on installations from Schneider Electric, Hager, Eaton, ABB and Siemens as well as older equipment. The report lists every observation with a C1, C2, C3 or FI code, photographs and a clear description, followed by a costed quote for the remedial work.

What an EICR includes

Visual inspection of boards, circuits and accessories

Dead and live testing to BS 7671

Earthing and bonding verification

Circuit schedules updated and boards labelled

Observations coded C1, C2, C3 and FI with photos

Prioritised, costed remedial quotation

Testing without stopping the building

Circuits must be isolated to test them, so we plan testing around your building. That often means evenings, weekends or school holidays, and phased testing on large sites so that IT, catering and security are never all off at once. Our engineers hold the site inductions and permits you need and report back to the helpdesk every day.

If the report finds problems, the same team can carry out the remedial works and issue the updated certificates. We test installations across London, the South East, East Anglia and the Midlands for FM companies, schools, courts and offices.
